Course Details
The challenging layout of 'The Plantation Course at Edisto' is both interesting and beautiful.
Every round is challenged by narrow fairways and lazy lagoons, but those golfers who possess a "straight game" will often be rewarded. The course offers three sets of tees and measures 6175 yards from the back. The course will always be set up and maintained in a player friendly status. Ladies really enjoy the course because of the beauty, level terrain, and friendly tee markers. Playing to a par 70, the only par fives are #5 and #18 which are among the best in the area. A valued addition of our renovation program was the planting of Sea Isle Supreme Paspalum grass from tee through green. This grass is new to our area and has many qualities that will enhance the playability of our course.
One must be careful during a round not to allow the beautiful Live Oaks, Magnolias, towering Palms, along with plentiful wildlife, to provide distraction from the game.
Don't let the length of 'The Plantation Course' mislead you into thinking that a low score is certain. You will have to earn your score, but your effort is sure to be enjoyable.
